beach day D.H.T

On Tuesday the 12th of November.
When our class got to the beach we all met the life guards and then they showed us around and then we went up stairs.When we were up stairs we done some activity's and learnt about water safety.Then we had  morning tea after we finished with learning water safety.So we had morning tea Then the teachers and life guards called us in to learn some more  about surf safety but we didn't do surf safety we went to go pick up some rubbish.After we had picked up the rubbish we done some challenges and then had lunch.After lunch we went to play capture the flag and i won.Then i went on the i.r.b.
And got dropped of out in the sea then swam back because the life guards told me to swim back.So i swam back and then grabbed a surf board and went for a surf.

Why we have R.O.A.R.
I reckon we have R.O.A.R so the college can use the roar actions.

Why it is important.
Its important because if we didn't have roar the college could have had bad students.

What R.O.A.R stands for.

what i did on labour weekend.

In The weekend me and my dad done lots of stuff.That Saturday morning we got up early and built a big fence.When we finished the fence i decided to go up town while my dad was mowing the lawns.So i went to my friend nelson's house and picked him up then we seen our other mates up town so we all decided to stay other at nelsons house for the night.So we all stayed the night then stayed up until like 5.00.am
playing the play station.The next morning on Sunday we walked up town then my dad came to pick me up.And then i was like later to my mates then i left with my dad then we went and  spray painted my dirt bike frame once we finished that i went for a bike ride with my other friends that live next door to my gran dads house.So we went for a bike ride into the forest then all of a sudden my mates tyre pops then he had to walk the bike all the way home.On Monday my mates got there tyre fix and me and my dad painted the lounge and then we just went other to my gran dads and had a look at my dirt bike and then put a couple of parts back on the frame.

AND THAT WHAT I DID IN THE WEEKEND.

So yesterday at Thursday/29/August/2019.
me and my class done problem solving so group one was up first. Im in group one to so what we did is someone chose the problem for us to do and we had to solve it in ten minutes.When that time was up each group had to go up and solve it on the board.When the first group was done me and my group went up and solved it our way.So then the problem solving ended then it was lunch time i actually learnt something in that lesson.What i learnt was to add and us multiplacations.

When its maths time me and my class do problem solving.At the start of the session we have to get into our groups and then our groups get a problem to solve from the teacher.When our times up one at a time a group has to go up and explain how they got the answer and yeah.the class has six groups but the teacher put three groups into a group one and the other three groups into a group two.

what do i know about matariki.

Matariki is a moari new year and every moari people look for the stars in the sky at like 2,am.And they have guy forks in wellington for matariki.

If u want to find matariki you look for a star called tautoru.Tautoru points u to the right direction.

Waita is associated with the ocean, and food sources within it.

Waipuna-rangi is conected to the rain.

ururangi is the star conected with the wind.

rocket challenge

facts about my rocket group.        we weren't good at deciding what our jobs for the launch would be.

• last week we launched our rocket. the variables were the wind and the weather.
• our water level was 250 ml's or 1 cup. our psi was 60.
• for adaptions we needed to add fins and a cone.
• we were good at deciding what the rocket would look like and how much psi and water level there would be.

what i done in the holidays

In the holidays i was working for basically all of the holidays.

When i finished work for the holidays i started playing fortnite for 

the rest of the holidays.When i was bored i decided to go ride my motorbike.So i was  

riding next thing i hear is my motor stuffing out and now its 

broken but i think i know what the problem is??

science fair.

On Friday the 29th of march was when the year 7/8 were at the science fair.One of the experiments was when you slowly lay down on these nails and use all of your weight in your arms.

commemoration day

Monday the 11th of march,2019 i attended  the commemoration day.

1. Karanga.
2. reading the songs and karakia.
3. watching the reflay.
4. Karakia/Prayer.

one thing i enjoyed about the ceremony was.
singing and learning stuff i don't know.

one thing that i learnt at the ceremony was.
when they told us that the boat sunk 102 years ago.

my act of kindness

My act of kindness i would to achieve is.
1.Try my hardest on working to get a high standard always
and care about others at all time.2.I would try focus on respecting other students and helping classmates with a problem  when hard work.3.Try to stop playing up for relieving teachers and stop calling other students names and put downs.
4.And stop teasing other students and swearing.
